There are two important changes for this months ride: the date and the time! Because the 1st Sunday of July is a holiday weekend, we will be riding on JULY 12. Because we are going to Lancaster and the ride might be a bit longer, we are moving the start time up to 1:30. Bob Landis is planning a ride to Lancaster and we will be stopping for Ice Cream as well. There will not be a picnic back at the church. We should be back by 6:00 pm. We hope to ride with these guys…..
Our next ride will be on June 7, leaving from the parking lot of Line Lexington Mennonite Church at 2:00 pm. Dick Franklin will be leading the ride up to Lost Caverns in Hellertown. We should be back to the church by 5:30 or so. We will be having a picnic in our youth barn for any who want to stay, and as always, your families are invited to join us! The food will be served at 6:00 pm.
The older I get, the more I need to prepare for emergencies! Here is my new trike! J

Our next ride will be on May 3, 2:00 pm. leaving from the church parking lot. Walt Keeler is planning a ride to 9 covered bridges in Bucks County. The scenic ride is about 100 miles. We should be back at the church sometime around 5:00 pm. Hope you can make it. (We had a great ride in April with around 35 bikes)
Has the bike been sitting around too long?

Time to get out there again! This year we will again be riding on the 1st Sunday of the month. Rides will leave the Line Lexington Mennonite Church parking lot at 2:00 pm sharp. We will be emailing out notices about 2 weeks in advance. I will also post the monthly ride on my webpage at www.lowelldelp.com - click on the “Ride Schedule” link. Also, mark your calendar for Biker Sunday which will be September 20, 2009. If there is interest, we are thinking of expanding the event to include a Saturday evening concert under a huge tent, and inviting bikers to ride in on Saturday, and those who want can sleep over here under the tent or in our youth barn. Some bikers come from quite a distance, and if this would be helpful, we want to do it.
Our first organized ride this season will be April 5, 2009 – leaving LLMC at 2:00 pm.
Walt Keeler will lead the ride up River Road from Center Bridge north to Upper Blackeddy and back.
We will be back to the church sometime around 4:00 PM. It may still be on the cool side, so please dress accordingly.
Please remember to come with your tank filled with gas.
Blessings, Lowell
I have had some folks asking if we are riding this Sunday, Dec. 7th. I waited to see if the weather would break, and it looks like it won’t, so we will not be riding. There are no rides scheduled until the temp gets up to around 50 or so, we will get emails out when we ride again. Have a great Christmas, and it looks like Santa finally got a real bike! J

For all you Polar Bears out there, we will be riding this Sunday to Lancaster – Dick Franklin has a ride planned to intercourse and the destination is the “Kitchen Kettle” Because the time changes this Sat. night, it will be getting dark earlier on Sunday. So, we are moving our start time up to 1:30 pm sharp. Here are the details. Sunday afternoon, Nov. 2, leaving at 1:30 pm and hopefully, returning by around 6:00 pm. It will probably be around 50 degrees, so dress warmly!
We need to ride as often as we can before it comes to this...

Next ride - Sunday, October 5 - 2:00 pm
Biker Sunday 2008 is history…it was an amazing day…we counted at least 145 bikes that came, we served at least 550 meals, and 118 bikes went on organized rides without one mishap! Please grab a 2009 Calendar and mark it for September 20, 2009 - That will be the date of next year’s event. In the meantime, we will continue to ride on the 1st Sunday of each month until it snows, and some of us may still ride then….
Our next Sunday ride will be October 5, leaving the church parking lot at 2:00 pm. A number of us did not get the opportunity to try Walt’s “Taste of West Virginia” ride last Sunday, so we will repeat this ride on Oct. 5. We heard lots of compliments on that ride; in fact, we had great feedback from all the rides! Thanks so much to the road captians… The ride on the 5th will go over into New Jersey, so helmets are required.
Here is a picture of some of the bikes from Biker Sunday...

Biker Sunday 2008 has finally arrived and God is going to give us GREAT WEATHER!
Here are the 4 rides being offered this year:
1. Valley Forge Park Ride
2. A Taste of West Virginia
3. Bucks County Covered Bridge Run
4. The Pocono Run
Greetings to all…
Our next ride will be on Sunday, September 7, leaving the church parking lot at 2:00pm. We will have a scenic ride up Rt. 611 to the Pocono’s and arrive at Lake Wallenpaupack by 5:00 for a picnic. It will be a bit longer of a day than we normally have…we may not get back to the church until around 9:00 pm. As usual, you can come along for as much of the day as you wish…if you want to ride with us for part of the trip and split off, that is fine. Also, remember that Biker Sunday is September 21, beginning at 10:00 am.
